August 7, 2015 - Edmonton & Nashville Twin Cities 25th Anniversary Reception
On August 7th, 2015, a reception was held in Edmonton to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the twinning of Nashville and Edmonton. Chaired by Gene Zwozdesky, the event featured speakers from Civic and Provincial Goverments and representatives of the Edmonton music community. A similar ceremony was held in Nashville a few days later, to coincide with the Grand Ole Opry debut of local country act Brett Kissel.
