May 26, 2015 - Whitney Rose at The Mercury Room
Whitney Rose from Prince Edward Island showcased at the Mercury Room on May 26th, 2015, while on her three week western Canadian tour to promote her new album, "Heartbreaker Of The Year". The album was produced by Raul Malo of The Mavericks fame. Nearly all the songs on the album were written by Whitney, who has her own unique style very reminiscent of a cross between a country balladeer and a torch singer from the fifties. Whitney also has former self titled album which also features mostly her original material in the same style.
