August 11 to 14, 2016 - Ivan Daines 40th Annual Friends and Heroes Country Music Pick-Nic and Rodeo in Innisfail

The 40th Annual Ivan Daines Friends & Heroes Country Music Pick-Nic and Rodeo took place on the Daines Rance, north of Innisfail from August 11th to 13th, 2017. The event featured local entertainers along with artists like Allan Christie, Hugh McLennan from the Spirit Of The West syndicated radio show, recording artist Duane Steele, CCMA and ACMA Hall of Fame member R Harlan Smith, and legendary American artists Rex Allen Jr, Lacy J Dalton and David Frizzell. Along with the musical entertainment there were horse training, junior steer riding and barrel racing events.
