August 16, 2014 - The Dog Rump Creek Tavern's 2nd annual House Concert Anniversary Party
Jazz & Tannis Matthews, who host the Dog Rump Creek Tavern house concerts in their Stony Plain garage, celebrated the 2nd anniversary of their concerts with a big multi-artist show at the Mainstreet Eatery. Steve Newsome opened the show, followed by Kevin Frey, Alyssa Strand, Justin Hogg, and Olivia Rose, who received an award for being the best opening act in the past year. Then came the dual headliners, Adam Gregory and Jake Mathews. Jason McCoy, although not present, was chosen as the best headline act of the last year, and daughter, Taelore Matthews, was given the Hall of Fame award for her inspiration in motivating her parents to host house concerts.
