February 8, 2014 - Dirt Road Angels, Lewis & Royal, and Shannon Smith - Association of Alberta Agricultural Societies Showcases
On February 7th and 8th, 2014, the Association of Alberta Agricultural Societies held their annual convention. One of the features of the convention is the artist showcases, where artists perform in the hopes of getting bookings for local fairs and other events put on by the various local societies. Among the showcasing artists on February 8th, were the five ladies of the Dirt Road Angels, Dahlia Wakefield, Danita Lynn, Shawna Lynne, Shila Marie, and Karen Claypool; Lewis Frere and Royal Sproule who perform as Lewis and Royal, joined by Travis Freisen; and Shannon Smith who showcased her own show plus her Shania tribute show.
