Brett Kissel appeared at Cook County Saloon on November 5, 2014, for a special guest appearance at a TV taping of the CMT program, "Mom's A Medium". Mom's A Medium stars medium Carmel Joy Baird, who connects with peoples deceased relatives, giving them messages from the "other side". The television taping also included some young emerging artists in an open mic situation performing before a live audience. The program will likely air on CMT in April of 2015.
