September 27, 2014 - Carolyn Dawn Johnson - Benefit Concert In Westlock
Carolyn Dawn Johnson performed to a sold out audience at the first annual Nelly's Project fundraiser to raise awareness of suicide prevention. The project was started after the suicide death of a young lady who Carolyn used to babysit when she lived in the Westlock area. Master of ceremonies for the event was Danny Hooper. Opening the evening's entertainment was 14 year old Abbey Kirchner from St. Albert. Many of Carolyn's former school classmates had returned to Westlock for the occasion, including a member of the first band Carolyn was a member of in High School.
